- The _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn command starts tape support. If you configure a system to
- do so, it is started during the system boot.
-
- To modify the exiting tape support personality-daemon definitions after
- _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn has been started, send signal 17 to _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn to request that it
- read a new configuration. _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn rereads the configuration file
- specified at startup and modifies its personality-daemon information.
- The existing _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn options remain unaffected.
-
- For more about the personality-daemon information and the _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn
- options, see the _tttt_ssss_...._cccc_oooo_nnnn_ffff_iiii_gggg(4) man page for a discussion of the
- configuration file.
-
- The _tttt_ssss_dddd_aaaa_eeee_mmmm_oooo_nnnn command accepts the following options:
-
- _----_CCCC _c_o_n_f_i_g__f_i_l_e Specifies the file that contains the tape support
- configuration. If you do not specify the _----_CCCC option, tape
- support defaults to the _////_eeee_tttt_cccc_////_cccc_oooo_nnnn_ffff_iiii_gggg_////_tttt_ssss_...._cccc_oooo_nnnn_ffff_iiii_gggg file.
-
- _----_rrrr Removes all trace files before creating new ones.
-
- _----_tttt Enables tracing.
